In recent times, drug abuse treatment has become steadily more popular. Today there are many different avenues someone interested in quitting an addiction can explore. Therapy, support groups (ie; 12 step meetings), outpatient services, sober living environments, and residential treatment facilities are some examples. The last two examples are the more intensive forms of treatment. A sober living environment is not in itself a treatment, but will certainly improve the odds of success with any other treatments you try.
